Kiddies In The Kitchen
This is another Kiddies in the Kitchen segment where we show you what our little chefs can make for dinner! This is the first time they ever made meatballs and not only did they enjoy making them, but they loved the taste too!
I found that these angels are more inclined and less fussed about their food when they make it themselves, and know what ingredients have been put in it.
We made more than what was needed, so half these ingredients would be more than enough to serve a family of four.
2 onions finely chopped
2 tsp of garlic paste
1 cup of bread crumbs
1 cup of milk
2 tsp of Worcestershire sauce
1 kg of minced beef
Sprinkle of salt and pepper
Pre-heat oven to 205 Celsius on fan forced, then prepare three oven pans lining it with baking paper and spray them with oil.
Crack the eggs into the bowl, then add the breadcrumbs and your finely chopped onion and garlic paste. Pour the Worcestershire sauce into the bowl and add your milk. Sprinkle some salt and pepper and add your minced meat. Help combine the mixture by first using a wooden spoon, then start mixing with your hands.
Mould the mixture into a circle with the desired amount of meat, and place them onto the pre-prepared oven pans.
Once you have placed all of your raw meatballs onto the pan, place them inside the oven spaced equally so that they can be evenly cooked.
Check them every 5 to 10 minutes until you think they are cooked through to the middle, you can slice the largest one in half just to be sure.
Mix the meatballs into the pasta sauce and your good to go!
